With summer in full swing, our Wildman turns his van south and heads for the unique Ashmead fishery and what’s more he nearly stalks a 40lb common before the kit’s even out of the van! With a week in Somerset under his belt, he’s soon on the road again, this time heading north to the mighty River Trent to try for a monster barbel with his brother, before finally returning to his boat on the local river for a mega haul of summer carp, caught on the anniversary of his dad’s passing.
