In the winter Jack fished on a little sewer drain where the fish were marooned in a certain stretch. It soon became clear that this river held some incredible old fish that he was pretty successful in catching during the colder months!

Jack returned a few days later to see if he could carry on the way he finished. He had fish feeding so made the effort to get back sharpish to see if he could get one step closer to catching the mirror he was after.

With the river season drawing to a close, Jack continues his quest to extract carp from a truly unique little venue. Visiting the drain regularly, familiarised him with its residents and a target fish soon emerged. Consistent baiting is key to success.
