For most, joining a newly dug lake with not a carp in sight would seem like a crazy prospect in today’s world of instant big carp.
But years ago, when Mark Bryant approached Mike Holly and a select group of local anglers with his vision for 'The Sanctuary' in the Cotswold Water Park, they didn’t hesitate to get involved as its founding members.

What followed was years of graft, patience and belief. Fast-forward to today, and that vision has flourished into a spectacular venue, now home to around 200 incredible, hand-picked carp - many of which have grown into seriously impressive fish.
