The Open Ocean | John Timmermans | S2: Ep.3

This movie spans two summer holidays during 2018 and 2019, where John visits the huge coastal lakes of South West France. At around 12,000 acres in size, the lake in focus is a true inland ocean, which has one of the lowest stocks, per acre, in the whole of France. These lakes are not for the faint-hearted, so any capture is considered a massive result, regardless of size. During these holidays, I was lucky enough to catch two massive mirrors, along with a handful of smaller fish.
