There are very few northern anglers who can lay claim to having caught from so many of the UK’s most revered and demanding carp waters, and Richard Skidmore is one of them. From days on Motorway Pond and Selby Three Lakes, through legendary venues like Tilery, The Mangrove and Erewhon, Rich takes us deep into the stories, characters and moments that filled a lifetime at the sharp end of carp fishing. This isn’t just a trip down memory lane. We also bring his angling right up to the present day, talking tactics, mindset and lessons from his current campaign on the notorious Dark Park. Forthright, honest and funny, Richard pulls no punches over our 90 minutes together and we’ve no doubt he’ll keep you just as entertained. If you love real carp fishing, real venues and real stories, this one’s for you.
