Excitement is at fever-pitch as Gaz Fareham prepares to put his best rig in front of the underwater camera on Hardwick Smiths Lake! It wouldn’t be a Submerge film without drama and one colossal mishap led us to think that all was quiet on day one, when the complete opposite was true! The action got more intense from there, as the big carp in the Oxford day-ticket Mecca began to respond to Gaz’s spombing tactics. The tension in the tent began to rise as the carp closed in on Gaz’s rigs and we got to watch these pressured carp feed as never before! Would Gaz’s rigs stand up to scrutiny? Which baits would generate the most intense feeding? Would the biggest fish in the lake make a mistake on camera? Gaz certainly signed off the episode in style, with a big Oxfordshire common that he’d picked out as it fed!
