Ian’s Catch A Carp series takes us to the banks of Heron Lake on Waterside Fishery complex. As always, his mission is simply to put fish on the bank, no matter the method, all we want is carp. With many strings to his bow and a reputation for producing the goods to order, it’s no surprise that not only did he catch carp, but the lakes largest resident paid us a visit too! With monster winds and driving rain, just being out there was hard enough and despite time of year, a varied and active approach, typical of Ian, saw plenty of fish caught.
