The Session takes us to renowned Colne Valley day-ticket, Farlows, and before we’d even set out we knew that action was practically guaranteed (even though it was January!), because our guest was ‘The Machine’, Tom Maker! Despite his tender age, Tom has blazed a trail across the carp scene since he could just about walk. He’s best known for amassing mind-boggling hits of carp from day-ticket Mecca, Linear, so we were keen to take him somewhere less familiar, to see how he approached it. Of course, there’s so much more to Tom Maker than hauling too, and we wanted to get under his skin, to find out what makes him tick, and why-oh-why he insists on using a pod! As expected, Tom didn’t hold back… on the fishing front or in sharing his strong views!
