Tom Stokes is regarded as one of the nicest guys in carp fishing and it was a pleasure to join him for our Session film. We visited an old haunt with a fresh face, in the shape of Embryo Angling's Stanton Harcourt, formally known as Vauxhall Lake. The fishery is one of Oxford's finest and oldest gravel pits and home to some incredible carp, both old a young. Stanton was the first lake Tom ever travelled out of Birmingham to fish, making it a bit of a trip down memory lane too. The carp were extremely active and kept both Elliott and Tom on their toes, whilst trying to stay hot on the tails of the carp. Pop-up fishing and keeping mobile was critical to success when trying and outwit the gems that this pit holds. Like many of our Session films, there's highs and there's lows, all of which are sure to keep you well entertained throughout this 1 hour and 20 min film.
